N2 - The new information technologies provides great opportunities in control education. One of them is the using of remote laboratories to teach the behaviour of the control systems. In this work a new approach to create interactive remote laboratories (labs for short) will be described. Two main software tools are used: Matlab and Easy Java Simulations. The first one is a widely used tool in the control community, whereas Easy Java Simulations is an authoring tool, designed to build interactive applications in Java. The Ejs applications offer a high degree of interactivity and visualization. These features are quite recommended when the applications are designed with pedagogical purposes.
