Abstract

The new information technologies provides great opportunities in control education. One of them is the using of remote laboratories to teach the behaviour of the control systems. In this work a new approach to create interactive remote laboratories (labs for short) will be described. Two main software tools are used: Matlab and Easy Java Simulations. The first one is a widely used tool in the control community, whereas Easy Java Simulations is an authoring tool, designed to build interactive applications in Java. The Ejs applications offer a high degree of interactivity and visualization. These features are quite recommended when the applications are designed with pedagogical purposes.
