Abstract
This paper presents the study and simulation of a new family of symmetrical hybrid multilevel inverters based on Cuk and Zeta converters, able to high step up/down voltages, primarily focused on applications for non-conventional renewable energy systems where DC voltage link is of low value. The main characteristics of these circuits, it is possible to obtain output voltages higher and lower than the input. Finally, due to the pattern of drive used, it is possible to obtain a low distortion in the output voltage.
