Abstract

This article presents a comparative analysis of various indicators that evaluate the impact of a distributed generator (DG) connection in a power distribution system. The goal is to select indicators to have an effective tool for studying and selecting alternatives for size and location of the DG. This analysis is performed on the IEEE 33 test system, considering mean and hourly values for power generation and load demand.
