Abstract
To extract the invaluable information on the nature of dark energy hidden in the history of the Hubble factor we must have at our disposal simple and practical criteria to be used on the data. Here, we propose some diagnostics based on H(z) that may help discern whether the dark energy interacts with dark matter or not and whether it is phantom or quintessence in nature.
