Abstract

A multiple drives solar-pumping system is presented in this paper. The system is based on a singlestage photovoltaic (PV) topology where an array of solar panels is connected to multiple inverters supplying equal centrifugal pumps. The inverters are operated to obtain maximum power from the PV system and a standard indirect vector control strategy is used to regulate the machines currents. Moreover a modulation strategy aiming to reduce the ripple of the inverters common DC link is presented. Simulations results are shown and discussed.
