Abstract

Communication between different agents always relies on the platform on which they are developed. Depending on the chosen platform a series of advantages and disadvantages are obtained which must be addressed when developing a system. That is why in the following the GPP platform for development of agents is presented, which was integrated with the network protocol provided by the JXTA project, thus giving a peer-to-peer network architecture between the containers involved. Finally, a multi-agent system was developed using this platform, which by using webcams and Lego robots operated by agents enabled the user, through another agent, to perform actions over the robots, abstracting the network created by the containers for organizing the physical network.
