title = "Optimization in AEC-AI 4.0 Industry Multi-level Adaptive Methodology for Knowledge Mapping",
abstract = "Architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) is characterized by the maintenance of “status-quo,” and in some areas the lagging innovation. The advances in Industry 4.0—powered by artificial intelligence (AI)—will drive all business sectors toward innovation. We present a method for analyzing textual concepts in a corpus of research literature relevant to the AEC, AI, and Industry 4.0. Our findings suggest that a target concept can be assessed at the macro-, meso-, and microscopic levels in a multi-level specification.",
