Abstract
A preprocessor prototype for the AML robotic programming language is described. This system creates a neutral code from an application program (written in AML). This neutral format allows one to transfer the information about the trajectories into a coordinate file that can be simulated using a graphical simulation module. Using this type of tools, programs can be tested and debugged in a off-line manner, reducing the development cycle time and improving the programming tasks. The system was implemented in a microcomputer under the MS-DOS system and written in TURBO PASCAL.
