Total variation adaptive scene-based nonuniformity correction

Abstract

We propose an adaptive scene-based nonuniformity correction method based on the minimization of the total variation of the estimated irradiance, which provides enhanced results in both simulated and real infrared imagery, showing less ghosting artifacts.
