Abstract

Usability is a main issue which definitely affects the quality and success of any interactive product. Touchscreen-based mobile devices are very popular nowadays; the development of new devices and related applications is demanded by users around the world. These new products should be designed following a user-centered approach, which require systematic usability evaluations. In this paper, we present the validation of a new set of usability heuristics for touchscreen-based mobile devices, through experiments.
