ANÁLISIS DE HERRAMIENTAS PARA EL DIAGNÓSTICO DE LA GESTIÓN DEL MANTENIMIENTO

One of the basic processes in any entity to guarantee its economic sustainability is the maintenance process. The objective of this article was to analyze the different tools applied for the diagnosis of maintenance management through a bibliographic review carried out in this field. For the study, the analysis and synthesis method as well as the cluster examination method were used. A total of 25 tools were investigated, showing the characteristics of each tool in the form of tables, applying des-criptive statistical analysis. The bibliographic review provides researchers with the benefits and insufficiencies for the selec-tion of tools that are best contextualized to their field of work, within maintenance, thus enhancing decision-making in function of the presented problems. In addition, a maintenance concept is proposed in close relation to its function and objective.
